Have you ever eaten or do you eat insects?

Where I'm from in America, we don't commonly eat insects. The occasional small winged critter might fly into your soup, but that's about the extent of it.

It is estimated that the world consumes 2 billion insects per day. I find this number amazing, considering that I find the idea repulsive.

That being said, crickets and mealworms are nutrient-efficient compared to other forms of protein. Locusts contain 20 mg of iron for every 100 mg of wheras beef only contains 6mg.

Do you eat insects (not judging)?
