The masters of the world are determined to sell us bugs and get us used to eating them, one way or another (just like they did with GMOs), while they dine on kobe beef, lobster and exotic delicacies while laughing at us.
"If you don’t want to eat crickets, cricket flour or powder, read all labels. It's known as Acheta Protein and is now included as an ingredient in many foods, eg., chips, biscuits, grain and protein bars, some breads and pastas. Just do a search for Acheta powder... there's lots about it online and it's being promoted as a good thing. You Decide..."
But are they organic bugs... or free range... hand picked off the flower stalk?
I'm shocked they haven't tried to spin it as the new "superfood".
Most certainly, some group of weirdos will sell this as the echologically sound way to save the planet and we'll be seeing "stars" in movies consuming such junk.
No.. I only eat bugs on bike rides and it isn't by choice. Then again, given the cost of grain and fertilizer as this war goes on, we may have no other viable option...

i heard that before but what those jackasses don't count on is me coming after them to eat them alive use their bodies as meat peel off their flesh with a fillet knife and cut away at their muscles and tendons and tear out their organs and eat them alive
Eew!! 🤢
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. So, apparently the FDA and the EU equivalent has approved the use of ground up house crickets in our food (but not the clot shot).
Here is one thing I found;
Would you? Should you eat them?
For me: NO!Crickets. Learn how to read ingredient labels.
Acheta domesticus may be on the label – it is Cricket. Some are hiding it by calling it “Acheta Protein” and promoting it as a great alternative to animal protein.
Bugs have been pushed for decades. The Victorians promoted the idea as way of feeding the poor. This is the problem, their seen as a solution to feeding OTHER people. No one ever thinks they themselves are so hard up it's time to eat bugs. Even people who use food banks don't want them.

Powder? processed stuff smh… If they mixed into most our foods prob. hard to not consume.
we have found local farms to buy our meat, eggs, honey, fish. Veggies will have to be summer time or canned/frozen stuff.
govt are in control…we can try our best to be smart about and avoid as much as we can.
wishing you a good day young man.If bugs were what the entire world was eating & highly sentient beings no longer held captive and tortured, I wouldn’t mind, I’m equally happy to see the abolishing of factory farming.. And of course I’m never going to be ok with don’t version of “ rules for thee, not for me” is and always will be a slippery slope.
URP!!
I'd prefer not to. But I do know some countries do eat bugs, insects, & worms (grub). I've heard that if we did eat them, we'd probably be able to feed everyone in the world.
I don't really have a strong opinion on this, and haven't looked into whether this form of protein is beneficial to humans. If it seems like a good source of protein compared to others, I wouldn't have a problem with it. If the masters of the world want to dine on fine food annd delicacies while bumping their cholesterol intake in meals, and pass on younger than me, I'm OK with that.
No I am going to stick with hamburgers and t bone steaks.
I make all my food from single ingredient products, mostly grow everything of my own.
On average people eat 140,000 bugs a year without even knowing it & those bugs are found in every day foods.
does rat protein sound any better? no. and you say cricket protein but it's also cockroach
I will never intentionally eat bugs. They can get fucked
Nope. Eat them instead. Let's go cannibalism.
Nah, cannibalism is above bugs but bugs are above veganism
