If we go out to eat as a group at a restaurant she tries sits beside me. She will pull up a chair even when there are several other possible spots to be beside me. She asks me to sit beside her because (insert various excuse).

I was at her house one time and was on a smaller couch, meant for 2 people but one spot was covered in junk. Other couch for 3 people with just her roommate on it no junk. She clears all the junk of my couch seemingly to be beside me. Her roommate comments while she is doing this to just sit with her and then quickly comments along the line of "course you want to sit there.." suddenly stoping like she was going to say something she shouldn't. The girl also likes to hit and tease me a lot, she is also very physical with me and say I am her favorite person to bug.

Sounds as though she's a bit too cozy for your comfort, sweetie, but it is quite obvious it's a insecurity deal going on with her. Perhaps she is so into you, she wants to be by your side at every breaking moment. Then again, to put it in another prospective, Maybe she has been burned before, and is intimidated that if she Doesn't sit butt close, you might get up and walk out.

There could be a million reasons Why girls do the things they do when either in a relationship, or just starting Out in one. No telling what is running through her head, accept she Insists on "sitting on top" of you.

I am sorry but your answer confuses me a bit. we are not in a relationship at this point we are only friends. It dosen't make me uncomfortable in anyway, I just want to understand why she is doing it
