On top of this my pastor ask me to let a 70 year old man in my home. Turned out he a pedofile chasing after a 30 year old and he stole most of my food

I stick to buying the specials and my 23 cu. ft. freezer has always been full I buy whole prime rib sections of beef at thanks giving and Easter time when they're $5.99/lb. And cut them into rib ete steaks & vacuum seal them so I have plenty of steaks, I've already started to harvest veggies from my garden so food prices really haven't changed for me yet nor will they for quite some time. I got fresh blueberries @ $6.99/2 Ibs. And bought 10 lbs. Froze them individually and them vacuum sealed them in 1 cup portions.

My wife and I spend over 200 bucks a week. We don't buy meat there either. Eggs, fruit, milk and even cereal are just out of sight.

Pretty good, we pay 50 to 150 a week on food for the two of us, depending on how much we feel like spending.

I live in California. With the fuel costs and AB5 laying waste to a part of the trucking industry, our food costs have skyrocketed. I'm single with a decent job and pretty low housing costs (property tax and insurance plus upkeep and utilities on an inherited house) but I have friends who are married with children and some of them are really, really struggling.
