If you ever had surgery were there any specific foods you constantly ate because it tasted so good?

When I had eye surgery it was chicken and rice.

In the run-up to having my gall bladder taken out, I read up on what to expect from during recovery. It was suggested to get rainbow sherbet, since it's flavorful and mostly water, but not entirely, so it'll keep things moving (digestively speaking) without tying down your intestines (which you REALLY don't want to do in those first few days). I was surprised by how much I liked it.
