What is the best food you ever ate?

Gateway to india, its this little indian restaurant in anaheim, ca near disneyland. Took my family to disneyland for vacation but wanted something more unique for dinner other than burgers, steak or fries. This little place was empty on a weeknight. But holy crap that was the best food I've ever had. It was the only time I felt eating was truly a spiritual experience. My wife cried after dinner. It was that good. My daughter is a picky eater and she ate everything. The owner was super nice, visited and talked with us... this is dining like its supposed to be. I left a 100% tip lol
When I worked at the Grand Canyon a few years ago so of the seasonal employees from Peru came to my room and cooked a traditional Peruvian meal that was fantastic. I had gone to town that day to get the ingredients for it, it included a couple of things I normally don't care for, but the way those young ladies cooked it, those items blended well and the taste wasn't as strong. Then for dessert I gave Katie the ultimate compliment, told her that her rice pudding was "ALMOST" as good as my mothers.
Roasted chestnuts. They have warm memories attached making them all the tastier.
Violet creams..
Turkish delight too..
I have simple joys when it comes to eating.
Yeah there's a lot of foods I love, but my favorite would have to be pizza, followed by literally anything chocolate lol

I'm a far kid at heart. There is no best. Just the best of each dish I've ever had. As much as I like waffles I can't say they're better than the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. Or that the best spaghetti I've ever has is better than the best steak.
I'm big on Italian food, most my favorite cuisines are Italian. But steak and mashed potatoes? Oooooooo boy. Muh heart
On a cruise ship we once had linguini and basil sauce. The basil sauce was very bright green, and looked kinda gross, but it tasted fantastic. Best dinner we ever had.

Hard to say, I’ve had some pretty good salmon dishes at restaurants and also really good breakfast at a bakery breakfast place using their own cinnamon raisin bread for French toast
