luckily thanks to the modern age i can get all but the last one delivered to my door fairly cheaply so i can have them every week (it is hard to find a good pizza delivery that isn't crappy)

Honorable mention to good southern soul food. My old roommate from Virginia's "Namaw" came to visit and made chicken, collard greens, yams, and Mac and cheese. And the whole thing had the sweetness of the yams infused into it, it seemed. So good.

Yeah, it's pretty spicy. A good thing about it though is it doesn't have as many onions in as other curries (I really hate onions), so most of it is just a really thick sauce without bits in it. Obviously, you can make it less spicy by adding cream or milk :)

Steak is bomb, how do you like yours, rare (like in the pic)? I always get it medium.

I like my steak medium rare.

So basically you get the leg of the pork, and you cut the outer layer of fat and then you just start slicing.
It's a super popular food in Spain, it's very expensive too cause it's unique, so if you ever go to Spain you HAVE to try it.

i got so sick of paella after living in spain for a month
every tapas, day in, day out, its all we ate. got so sick of it eventually we had to look hard for an italian food place

@aliencreature Yeah, if you eat it every week it gets boring, but it's not something people eat every week because a good paella isn't cheap and you need like 3 people minimum to eat it. But I guess since you went to a tapas restaurants that's different. Spain has so much variety of food, I don't know why you ate so much paella xD
But what was your opinion after your tried it for the first time? Also, what's your opinion on Jamon Iberico?

oh it was definitely good and its much cheaper in spain :) i considered just buying a shitload of saffron overseas and flipping it for a profit cause its dirt cheap out there

we ate more than just paella, my family were just dead set on getting that "spanish experience". i just liked being able to order jugo de pina or jugo de melocoton anywhere that i went

all we got out here is that crappy kerns nectar

jamon has a weirder more doughy salty consistency than other meat. i didn't like it as a kid but i'll probably like it much better now
