Recently we went out to eat at wolf's head restaurant - I ordered the boom boom shrimp salad. The shrimp come in a creamy sauce that was a little kick with sliced avocado, crumbled bacon, and bleu cheese crumbles on a bed of lettuce. You can either pick ranch or bleu cheese dressing - I went with ranch on the side.

If you like a somewhat spicy food, this was delicious! I would most definitely order it again. 🙂

I had beignets once off of a food truck. They were deliciously fried, the caramel made them taste even better. I kept looking for the food truck after it happened in the hopes of buying it again, but they only came to my area for special occasions, otherwise I would have to rent them and I couldn't afford to pay for their catering. Still, I would love to have beignets again.

Kind of off my beaten path was a chicken katsu in a little hole in the wall in midtown Manhattan.

Another was a steak frites in a restaurant in Hong Kong.

Best snack? Freshly made popcorn with butter and salt. Or chocolate chip cookies. Or brownies.

Best meal? A cheeseburger and French fries.

I tried something from Panda Express one night. I got string bean chicken, mushroom chicken, and then steamed brown rice. Mushroom chicken was the one I've never had before. It has chicken, mushrooms, and zucchini. It was delicious and I'd get it again.
