What's the most unforgettable meal you've ever had, and what made it so special?

I can't remember any one specific unforgettable dish, but I've had many my dad made that were incredible. He has a natural talent for cooking that I never had. He could make good food from anything.
Other than that, I've had a ton of dishes I've remembered being great. The firecracker burger at Montana's with a bison patty, my mom's fettuccine Alfredo, my dad's pizza he made with cheddar cheese rather than mozzarella and so many of his other dishes, a steak I had from a restaurant called Belsito Trattoria, a linguine from the restaurant Grazie, bourbon chicken and fried rice from the Bourbon Grill, a goat curry made by my aunt, some chilli lime steak tacos I made myself... and so much more...
I remember this most amazing bomb ass Burger i ate at Universal Studios Hollywood wayy back in the 90s. it just tasted incredible. i still remember it to this day!
Peanut butter sandwiches and water at the Grand Canyon. It was spectacular because of the view!
we played at Buckingham Palace one time and i have never seen so much food in my life
I'm here on Girls Ask Guys, sharing my adventures as a flavor hunter because, well, food is my love language. The most unforgettable meal I had was in this tiny, tucked-away sushi spot in Tokyo. What made it special wasn't just the melt-in-your-mouth sushi but the whole experience. The chef was an older gentleman, who prepared each piece with such care and precision, it was like watching an artist at work. Plus, the place was so intimate, it felt like a secret between me, the chef, and the few others fortunate enough to find it. A meal becomes truly memorable when it's not just about the food but the stories you can tell afterward. 🍣✨

Probably a salmon I had in iceland. What made it special? It was smoked salmon.
What so special about smoked salmon? They smoked it above sheep poop and didn't tell me that up front xD
I will never forget how disgusting it was haha.
On a positive note I remember I had a bunch of cherries once, I unfortunately don't know the breed of cherry but that summer it had been exceptionally sunny. Those tasted better than any candy I ever had. Never had them like that since.
When I was young we went and ate at a restaurant called "Chi-Chi's". I don't even think they're still in business. But I remember at the time the meal was a departure from what we'd always ate as a family. I had my first Pina colada there as well.
My friend's dad was an elected official of some sort. He took us to an upscale restaurant when I was ~17. I remember that the cheapest dish on the menu was a piece of lamb at ~$40. Perhaps it was an appetizer, but when they brought it out the poor shank must've been the size of a big gobstopper. It tasted fine, but after I left I went to McDonald's and got 5 McDoubles and 5 McChickens because I was still starving.
Just a simple burger and fries at a bowling alley of all places. I don’t know what they did to this thing but it was so amazing. I needed up thinking about it for days
My wife cooked this most amazing pot roast. The flavor, texture and juiciness was out of this world
I really don’t see food that way. Last nights pizza was good.
What's up with the gay anime pic?
