Impossible to say. So many stand out.
Some of the holiday meals with my family when my grandparents were alive.
Fresh lobster in Massachusetts.
Filet Mignon at Mexifran, a Mexican-French fusion restaurant, in San Miguel de Allende.
Daeji Bulgogi at an authentic Korean restaurant that I used to frequent. They had the most amazing spicy seafood soup, too. Their food was like an orgasm for the palate.
A dish that I don't remember the name of at a Lebanese restaurant in Washington DC.
There are so many more. I can't describe them all.
They all sound amazing
I keep saying this one amazing burger i had at Univeral Studios Hollywood. i was maybe 13 or so in the late 90s and even now i remember lol. no other burger has dethroned it since.
I'll also mention this amazing meal i had at colonial williamsburg virginia. the restaurant was called the kings arms i beleive. anyway i can't remember what the meal was exactly but i just remember it was one of the first times i ate absolutely everything on my plate it was so good. i was maybe 16 at that time.
So yeah those two are tied
Sometimes an amazing burger is all you need really.
im definitely a burger guy lol
I used to be
Earlier this year, my boyfriend and I went to a small town near Green bay, WI to pick up a boat he bought. We noticed a small restaurant, so, since we were both starving, we went in for lunch. I ordered enchilada grande, it was delicious! Who would have thought a restaurant in Hicksville WI would have amazing Mexican food? lol It was the best I ever had and will be going back. I wish my mother was on GAG, I'd be curious to see how she would answer. I don't think that woman has ever had a good meal!
It is more about who made it for me. My aunt Veronica makes everything taste better than I imagined it would taste.
Whether its something simple like spaghetti... or something more complex and difficult to make... she always goes nuts in the kitchen lol. And everyone is always amazed with her cooking haha.
So yeah pretty much every meal she has prepared and shared with me.. haha and that's usually at my grandmother's house during holidays or at home when she brings me something to taste.
She sounds like she's an amazing cook.
I'm here on Girls Ask Guys, sharing my love for all things tasty and trying to spread some culinary joy! The best meal I ever had? Tough question! But if I have to choose, it was in a little family-owned trattoria in Rome. They served this homemade pasta with a truffle sauce that was absolutely to die for 🍝. The pasta had just the right texture, and the sauce was rich without being overpowering, with the earthy truffles really shining through. It was a simple dish, but the flavors were so well balanced, it was like a little piece of heaven on a plate. And the ambiance of the place, with its cozy, rustic charm, just made the meal even more unforgettable. Italy really knows how to do food right!

Really hard to say where was best place. A friend had a restaurant in Bologna Italy and we had a full tasting session one evening, select invites and it was an amazing selection of foods, various pastas and sauces specific to that type of pasta, pizzas, deserts, limoncello and various cocktails etc. I also attended a Tri service chefs competition as a person doing the eating lol, staggering foods.
Damn that sounds amazing
It was, the latter being amazing as you had military chefs that had cooked for royalty, heads of state and high level banquets, then also in the field on operations.
So many!! Can’t remember all
best steak houses in NYC and Fort Lauderdale.

Cajun Jambalaya Pasta at The Cheesecake Factory.

I love jambalaya
I like it with crawfish and sausage
Grilled Tuna at some restaurant in Chicago. Everything about the meal was fantastic! I never had tuna but I asked the waiter to recommend something and that's what he recommended. I gave him an extra couple bucks for not disappointing me. 🙂 I do have to give honorable mention to a small cafe in East St. Louis. They had the best Denver omelet I ever ate! Especially after a night of heavy drinking and strip clubs.
A great omelette is hard to beat.
Back 2018, my grandmother and my mother's sisters cooked a lunch where all families where presents. Now my grandmother is gone,;there's much family gathering. My uncle is gone too. My cousin too. I miss then all. The meal was a traditional meal including Yemen, my country and Ethiopia dishes.
It was while my wife and I were staying on the Digby Neck in Nova Scotia. We stayed with this family who were friends of friends. I helped check the traps for scallops and lobsters and we girlled some up on an outdoor firepit/grill along with some corn on the cob and ate them at a picnic table covered in newspaper. We each had large bowls of butter to dip things in... so good!
The best meal I have ever had was a fresh basil pizza Margherita. I was in a small pizzeria in Naples, Italy. Oh, the combination of thin crust and melted mozzarella cheese... I decided to have another slice, but then I realized that the entire pizza was gone! The atmosphere, the wonderful smells, the friendly owner of the pizzeria all came together to make it an unforgettable experience. If you ever go to Italy, I don't think you should miss a slice of Margherita pizza!
I had this neighbor who brought over two pounds of ground moose meat. I smoked some hamburgers with applewood. Since moose meat is really lean, we had to add some butter in the stake seasoning we were also using. That with the pepper jack cheese was pretty tasty.
My wife and I had a fantastic meal of pasta at a small Italian restaurant in Rome Italy. Best carbonara ever!
My favorite was carbonara and tiramisu in Florence Italy
@mandyfire98 We had a nice meal in Florence too, at a restaurant in the basement not far from the main Cathedral.

The best meal I ever had was at an Italian farmhouse where I was traveling for work. Seven courses four bottles of wine, fresh food, right from the farm fresh meat right from the farm unbelievable amazing. Oh, and a gorgeous setting to boot.

It was at a place an hour away from me but close to where my wife is staying for therapy. I had an amazing steak dinner. It was perfectly flavored and cooked to perfection.
I took my family to an expensive restaurant when they visited me abroad. I had some pasta with truffles and somesuch, great food and a very nice experience.
My best meal was a steak at a restaurant in Paris. I also had a lobster salad at that restaurant which was amazing as well. I can’t remember the name of the restaurant, unfortunately.
