Girls, Ladies is there a good tool you use to get the little dirty spots clean on carrots?

I've decided to try to cook carrots without peeling them, but unlike potatoes no matter how much i rinse them under the water they have these little spots on them with little flecks of dirt that won't come out. I noticed I can get it out if I use my nails but that would take forever to do just one carrot. Is there a process that is much faster but doesn't tear up the carrot skin?

You can get peelers that have a stiff bristle brush on the other side. But honestly I wouldn't worry. If you're leaving the skin on, it'll taste a little earthy anyways.

Just eat it. It's not gonna kill you.

If you're very scared, just take a (sharp) knife and carefully cut the spot out (always cut away from you and don't put anything in front of your knife you don't want cut).

it's not necessarily the taste i'm worried about or germs. but dirt can be gritty and i can't stand the thought of crunching a grain of dirt as i'm chewing

Yea... I always use the potato peeler to remove that too layer. 🤷🏽‍♀️
