My way to make Shepard pie do you make it too?

While in England several years ago, I learned the story of true shepherd's pie. In the morning, before the shepherd went out to tend to his sheep, the shepherd's wife made it hot with lamb, pea and carrots in a ceramic bowl, covered it with mashed potatoes and baked it so that the hard potatoes kept the heat inside until the shepherd ate it for lunch.
I got spoiled on that recipe in England. In most restaurants in the US, they serve ground beef instead of lamb, and it just isn't the same.
Tonight, I'm going to finish the pizza I had for lunch.
Interesting how much beef do you have in there. I’m a meat guy I like a lot of meat in my shepherds pie and lasagna The average lasagna doesn’t have enough meat in it. it’s like 95% pasta
Beef is cottage pie not shepherds pie
Made a modified version that's probably offensive to shepherds last night. It has beef mince, peas, red kidney beans, soy sauce and some frozen mixed veg and topped with instant mash.
I make mine different than anybody else.
I put a can of cream of broccoli soup in the meat instead of gravy. I know it might not sound good, but it’s delicious.

Are you using lamb or beef? Because if that's beef, it is a cottage pie my friend.
And if used no meat it’s a Shepardless pie plus lamb is fatty
I do like shepherds pie but I love cottage pie as I prefer beef to lamb
