@loveslongnails I was taught to make pizza from many different Italians in my city all from Italy not ‘American’ Italians, ie moved from Bari, Naples, Rome and cosenza.

Good! I've been to Italy about 12 times for long stays, everywhere from Sicilia to Aosta, from the heel to Lana. I've had pizza from everywhere, in its many variations. The thing is, in my opinion, it cannot be duplicated anywhere else. Everything from the water to the flour to the terra that the veggies are grown in, is significantly different. The way the meats are processed is different, many of which have zero preservatives or added hormones of any kind. The cheese is different, and better. The best we can do here is approximate :). But I assure you, never in my travels have I seen an Italian put beans of any kind, on a pizza! Bon Appetit!

@loveslongnails I never suggested adding bake beans was making the pizza Italian I was pointing out the the Izzy minus the topping needs to be a true pizza base not some America crap for it to work and taste agreeable, you missed the point entirely by trying to think of yourself in a superior light.
