How much wine do you eat daily? and when?

I limit myself to drinking onece a week because I'm afraid I'll get to carry away with it. And when I do drink my experience is it all taist bad so why a lot of something like wine to get the same feeling out of something I only have to drink not much of like wisky. I take shots just to get the bad taste and Burn over with lol. But I have heard wine is good for your heart along with other health benefits. I'm open to trying different types of alcohol because I'm still trying to figure what I like, what kind of wine do you recommend?

I found that wine is very difficult to eat. It's not very chewy.
