What is your opinion of people who slurp?

I do sometimes in the privacy of my own home when alone.

Never around other people.

Rude, but less rude than people watching videos in waiting rooms with the volume cranked up, or any of many, many other extremely rude behaviors that a large percentage of people choose to exhibit in public these days.

It’s one of those that make me think “WHY are you doing that?”. Like when people make those (obnoxious)…… unsettling noises whenever they yawn. Everyone does it for some reason, it really takes absolutely no effort At All to just not make any noise at all. Cats can do it

Depends entirely on the day. Typically I don’t care if it’s not near me (same with smacking lips when eating and chewing with mouth open). But if it were a day like today and I heard someone slurp I would struggle to control the urge to not snap.

Depends on the context. Are we slurping ramen? If so, that's actually the correct way to enjoy it. If we're talking about tea or coffee on the table... Yeah that's when it's annoying.

Ugh. My wife does that. I ask her to stop but she doesn’t. But it’s karma because I’ve discovered that when you slurp you are also sucking in air - which will give you gas and sooner or later - fire in the hole! 😛

I usually try to avoid doung it especially in publice because i have been told everything I have done it in Public to Stop, But I have been with other People who Slurp in Public and no one says anything to them about it.

It's usually unnoticeable so shrugs and I do it myself sometimes by accident and some times on purpose it when someone gives me a tea or coffee because that is polite in Japan.
