Do you season your meats?

Well you either spice my meat or I won't eat it. That's that, dead chicken tastes like crap without seasoning. Not a fan of raw tasting meat at all. Especially not in birds.
Own shot dear, moose another story. Because they are wild and can be a real waste over seasoning apart from some pepper and salt. But when an animal has been in the free for its whole life. The very core of it tastes better to begin with. Than something breed for the purpose of dying.
I respect meat that deserves respect. The other crap I just don't eat. Barely eat pig, disgusting how they handle them in most places of this planet. Even the bacon tastes like shit these days.
Going to your local Butcher and Breeder is highly recommended. There is a great difference in the quality and taste of that animal, compared to the crap you buy mass packaged in jumbo wumbo stores.
For me it depends on the meat and the cooking process

I veer to a controversial side about salt. I think even up to 10g is okay for people who are eating whole foods and doing home cooking.
But I season my meats very well. I got a spice rack and I got a different combo of spices for every type of meat: chicken breast, chicken thighs, pork chops, pork shoulder, pork belly, beef sirloin, beef tenderloin, beef rib-eye, etc.
''White'' people aren't a homogeneous phenotype. Same goes to any other ''colour'' of people :D
And so is the nature of ''our'' food = a wide variety.
As for myself (paleface), I use marinades, spices or herbs that match the meat taste; but I try to not entirely cover the taste of the meat itself.
It’s weird to think all people of color aside caucasian like seasoning. Taste is personal like everything else. The picture isn’t abnormal. BBQ sauce is added when the chicken is half done. Not raw.
I prefer flavourless chicken to the way my parents season them. I like curry chicken but my mom hates it and their other chicken dishes taste unpleasant.
It's mostly from ignorant people who don't know what words mean.
I season everything except my breakfast cereal.
just salt and pepper. It is a crime against humanity to put ketchup on steak.
I always thought the same about how western countries always over look spices in their food.
I season all my food. It doesn't matter what I'm cooking. It just makes the food taste that much better
No we don't. We started wars and colonialism for spices but we don't use them. lel
Uhm yes. I don’t know anybody who doesn’t. I’m white and so are most people I know.
"white people don't season their food" is the dumbest stereotype ever to come out of the left.
No. My raw juicy meats need no seasoning! 🥑🍉🍌🫐🍎🍐🥝🍒🍑🥭🍈🍍
