My partner and I have been having vegetarian (sort of) meals a few times a week because meat has just gotten so expensive. Usually we just do something with tofu like BAO buns or wraps or a vegetable curry. Tonight it was tofu wraps with horseradish mayo
It's 85p for 20 chicken nuggets or 8 chicken burgers it's by far the cheapest food to get that isn't beans in a tin.
So I don't see how meat is got expensive and I really doubt it will be highly different where you live. The only way I can see meat been expensive if you are going to a butchers to get premium service but that's obviously expensive that would be like saying Pizza is getting to expensive when you only order takeaway pizza's.
I do have meat of some sort at every meal. However it is not always to eat so much as it is for seasoning. Like I will use meat as a base for stock for soups. A little can go a long ways. A few pieces of ham in a bean dish for example. Or a few cubes of beef in a vegetable soup. Or even a strip of cooked bacon chopped up in a potato soup or twice baked potatoes...
I'm not a vegetarian but I still eat meat free meals. I don't try and substitute other things it's more the recipe doesn't include meat anyway
Nope I try to cook mostly vegetarian, I do cook fish very often tho but yeah I try to not eat meat everyday

Most of the time yes. But not because we're specifically deciding to only have meat or be anti vegan/vegetarian, but because that's just what we want for that meal.
Lotta basic stuff to eat that doesn't involve meat.
Tons of great pizza options without meat, same with pasta. Somewhat the same with mexican dishes.

Yes we do. But I've started to mix turkey and beef. Actually cuts the amount i spend and fat and cholesterol goes down.
