What did you make for Thanksgiving this year?

I made butternut squash soup, sweet potato casserole, ambrosia salad, green bean casserole and apple cobbler.

Turkey, stuffing, mashed red potatoes, bourbon gravy, sweet potatoes, creamed onions, cranberry sauce, fresh rolls that are similar to Yorkshire pudding, green beans, apple pie, pumpkin pie, pecan pie... I think that about covers it accept for the hors d'oeuvres.

As for Thanksgiving the only thing I made was my bed this morning. As for a for a Thanksgiving meal I didn’t have to cook, I didn’t have to clean & all I had to do was jump in the car, pickup my neighbor & go to a local restaurant & let them do the rest.

They're small white onions that are boiled and my wife makes a homemade cream sauce and pours it over the onions after they are drained.

Well my wife will make a “Chinese turkey”. Turkey breast marinated with soy sauce, different herbs and spices. Don’t know what else she has planned for food but I’ll personally make two pumpkin pies 👍🙂

@TrueConfection - Well the instructions on the can calls for one deep dish 9” pie shell. But my mother taught me to go with the shallower pie shells and you will make two pies - one for immediate serving and the other for later. 👍🙂

And I usually never make anything for family Thanksgiving dinners, because my one sister usually makes everything v over at my mother’s house.

(But in past Friend’s T-giving get-together I usually made a can-filling pumpkin pie…I stopped after I had a disaster w the pie not setting because I forgot to add the required egg (s?). Lol)
