Is there an eggplant dish in English cuisine?

In English cooking they're known as aubergines. They're a popular vegetable here but don't get used in traditional "English" dishes. Usually they end up in a pasta sauce.

We make it in my culture, it’s quite nice I’m sure you can find recipes on Google to make it or there’s Turkish restaurants that serve it😄

@Lulu897 I’ve seen something like it a Turkish festival we have here. Greek first month then Turks is next month…. Filipino etc….
