This is such a great question! I was thinking of posting something similar myself. I can’t think of a food i’ve tried recently that i’ve literally never had before. I have tried old favorites in new ways though.
I’m not really a fan of prime rib. I would choose a New York strip over that every time…. or at least i used to. Ell oh ell! I found a place that has prime rib and eggs on the breakfast menu, and i prefer that sometimes! New York is on the menu too! There’s just something delightful about the texture and taste of prime rib for breakfast, along with a Bloody Maria, of course. I would recommend it to anyone.

Not tried a new food but tried cooking a recipe my mom always made as a kid. Black eyed peas and ham hocks with skillet cornbread.

Came out really well. I did it in a pressure cooker. 30 minutes.

It's kinda common in North Carolina. I had the idea walking through the grocery store and there was a display with the peas and another shelf with ham hocks and another shelf with cornbread. Nostalgia hit my me. So that's what gave me the idea.

I gave fufu a go. Admittedly made from powdered stuff rather than fresh. To me it just reminded me of mashed potatoes without butter.

Beef and cheese and bean filled burritos from taco bell... that was actually very good. Better than getting my usual tacos.

Tapioca Balls with pork filling. They are very good and are actually a desert that are 2 inch in diameter.
