The first time you cooked, did it turn out well or badly and what did you prepare?

I guess the first real serious attempt at cooking something was a rib roast I cooked a couple of years ago. It cost a hundred bucks so I did not want to ruin it. I cooked it on a rotisserie on my grill. I think that Prime Rin is usually served too rare so I left it on a little bit longer but was careful not to leave it too long. It must have turned out good because my kids did not even leave me enough leftovers to make a sandwich the next day.
I don’t remember exactly. Probably frying hot dogs as a kid. I like a little char on them, so even if I likely burned them, I’m sure it was fine😅
Well I've been cooking and helping gran in the kitchen for as far back as I can remember. Most of the stuff came out pretty well according to her though I was always nervous af if anyone other than us was eating. Now I just know my way around the kitchen and don't think much about it. Stuff pops out pretty decently as a rule. My poor frying pans take quite a beating, though.
I couldn't tell you... I was a child and have no memory of it. Y'all really have memories of your first time cooking? 🧐
The first time I cooked, I prepared a simple spaghetti aglio e olio, a classic Italian dish. I was around 12 and eager to try something authentic. Fortunately, it turned out surprisingly well, with just the perfect balance of garlic, olive oil, and a hint of chili. That experience sparked my love for Italian cuisine and showed me the joy of creating something delicious from simple ingredients. 🍝

The first thing I made by myself was eggs. I was in 6th grade...
They came out pretty good. It's kind of hard to mess up scrambled eggs lol.
I don't really like cooking... but it looks like I'm a good cook... and even if I do something the first time... it's good :D
Not counting cooking with my mother, beans on toast. The toast took so long the beans were almost burned. To be fair, I'd never cooked with an electric cooker before.
lol… fish sticks, macaroni and cheese and green beans
I fried a hamburger and it was completely raw on the inside.
