What does jellyfish taste like?

I heard it's often tasteless or slightly salty but most people say they always marinate it in sauce so it'll just taste like sauce.

I've only tried it once. I bought a pack of dried jellyfish from an Asian store in the UK. It reminded me of very chewy bacon rind or pork skin that isn't crispy

You hit the mail on the head. Also it’s crunchy. Sort of like soft gristle and briny tasting but if you get packaged jellyfish like at Asian supermarkets, it comes with seating you add to it 👍🙂

Yeah because I plan to buy the tentacles and then instead of using clear water to drain the salt I'll marinate it in something else. Put a little flavored butter in a pan, put the jellyfish in and cook for a minute or two season it with all my 100 million seasonings and eat😊😊😁

The jellyfish is mostly water so drain the hell out of it. Hot Grease and water don’t mix.
