Coffee lover? What would you replace the coffee with other than tea?

I don't go near that abomination that's called (Nescafè) and i do already drink a lot sorts of tea, even homemade herb tea from our garden. Nothing can replace coffee though but the price is making me wonder to have options that are not alcoholic 🤣

Because if i attack politics they will call me a terrorist and we can't win against the mob, especially political mob

So what are the options here! Like i said, i alrwady drink tea and make my own. What else

Wondering where you live because coffee is still somewhat reasonably priced. Even the Keurig pods here in the United States. Ground coffee or beans is even more reasonable.

But, the answer to your question would be an ice cold Coke although where I live it is waaaay more expensive than coffee.

I live in Sweden. The price is almost double compared to September 2022. It used to cost between 4 and 5 dollars a pack while now it's between 7 and 8 dollars. No sodas nor soft drinks for me.

Again, I'm in the United States and I buy a brand called San Francisco Bay coffee off of Amazon in the Keurig pods. They are about $0.27 each so 27 cents per cup. That's really not bad. (Until my teenagers start drinking it.) I wonder though, could you get a better price by buying in bulk over the internet and having it shipped to you?

We brew the coffee 99% of the time and that kind of local coffee is the cheapest we can get. I don't have machine so i can use pods. So the cheapest i could find is 5,5 $ for 450 grams (1 lbs) but i have to pick it my self from the storage that is about 50 minutes away.

Well, what are you looking for? Heat? Flavor? Caffeine? Coffee's tricky to grow yourself, and as I recall, you're in Sweden, so it's probably not an option at all, unless you have access to a greenhouse.

For growing coffee beans; Sweden's not a frozen wasteland, but it's not exactly good land for growing coffee. Hmm... there's always Water Joe, or so other caffeinated water, heated up; you could even brew tea in it.

Well i am growing my veggies and fruits instead, there is always balance somewhere. Growing own coffee beans? That is a stretch 😁

No coffee for me. I hate the smell and it taste foul.
I had it once sweet and I got so shakey I decided never to do that again

I never had a problem with it! Tear open the pack, dump it in the cup, flood it with hot water, stir, add sugar and cream, you're done! Takes a few seconds!!

The only other alternative to coffee really is energy drinks to get the caffeine hit. But they're obviously a lot worse for you.

No energy drinks since 2010 🤷‍♂️. In Sweden ! Coffee got a little bit more expensive. Not sure how much does it cost in other countries

I make my own and get free coffee at work so I'm not sure. I think the bag of beans I bought was $6. I just bought myself a couple bottles of syrups with pumps too

The coffee at my work is awful. A 400 g pack cost 6$ here but it used to cost 4$. I drink my coffee black. Here! It is a big deal that coffee went from 4$ to 6$.

I work at a cafe so it's espresso machine coffee made by yours truly. You should try get some from a wholesale/bulk store. If you get beans they last way longer and much more economical. I use a moka pot or french press at home which both work well for black coffee. Or obviously you could use an electric drip maker

But it is sooo much better. When you buy pre ground it's stale before you even buy it.

I know 😞 but it is very rare to find ungrounded beans here. Even online and they are more expensive. Plus! I don't own a grinder. So! I will try to find fresh beans with an alright price, get a grinder and see how far i will get.

I do highly recommend. Maybe even if you buy a small bag to start see if you like it then see if you can find it in bulk to save on the price
