Have you made Big Mac sauce?

Quick, simple, Big Mac sauce recipe. Ingredients from a McDonald's executive chef:

(Makes 1 cup)

3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon white wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Combine and whisk in a mixing bowl.

The funny thing is I hate Mustard, Mayonnaise and Sweet pickle relish but I love the Sauce! And I kinda wanna try to create this but that would be a waste of those if it don't work out.

Only takes about 5 minutes. Cheap ingredients and it's pretty tough to mess up if you measure it out.

If I remove the mustard, and sugar, and replace it with some Worcestershire Sauce and minced garlic, it's something I've been making for years called -- tartar sauce, even though tartar traditional contains a little mustard powder.

Huh, didn't realize tartar was that similar.

There are variations, but they're close

Tartar has lemon juice or something tart that's different from vinegar, and the sweet pickle (I use gherkins) counteracts the sour. It also calls for a "creme of mustard" which is a white powder, which is why tartar never looks yellow.

I've never even had a Big Mac!! Nor did I know they HAD any sauce!! About the only fast food burgers I ever ate were at Wendy's.

Truly? Good on you. I rarely eat fast food myself but I've always loved that sauce for some reason.

@SnowedIn Who knows, maybe some day. I haven't even been to Wendy's in about 20 years or better!! I usually get a triple with cheese, mayo and ketchup. I'd get bacon, too but, most people don't know how to cook it and there's always rubbery bits that I can't chew and end up spitting it out so, what's the point?

@SnowedIn So far, the only place I know of that has well-cooked bacon is Vincent's pizza!! And, when they put it on their za, they don''t just sprinkle a few crumbled up bits on the za, they toss on quite a few FULL STRIPS!!!
Now, you want a treat, you NEED to go to Vincent's at least once ion your life!! THAT'S how you make pizza!!! They've been in business since the `50's in the same location and have such a great reputation, people from California call them up and order a stack of pizzas and have them flown via Fed Ex out to California!! https://youtu.be/al3YGxlesV0

Those things are so filling, a lot of people can't eat more than 1 slice! As you can see when they put the toppings on, they just toss a few bits here and there, they COVER the pizza with two huge handfuls of each one!! And, their small is about the size of most other pizza shops' LARGE!! I think they are 16", 18" and 20". It could be 18", 20" and 22"!

It's REALLY good!!! I've been going there since the early `80's! Although it takes me 3 buses to get there, each leg of the trip is only 5 to 20 minutes. 1st bus: 20, 2nd bus: 5, 3rd bus: 15. It's the waiting between buses that takes so damn long!!
When I first started going there, the front room was where you got the pizza and there was a tiny bar in the back room. There were only about a dozen tables in the front. Now, the bar holds at least 15 tables AND the bar!! And you STILL have to wait in line to get in, sometimes!!

@SnowedIn It certainly does! There HAVE been people that say it's not that good but, are you gonna believe the 5 or 6 people that say that or the lines of people waiting to get in to get one every day or those that go to the expense and trouble to have it FedEx'd across the country?
One of the last times I was there when Vince was still alive, there was some guy wandering around inside talking on a cell phone who had just ordered 20 pies and was getting them FedEx'd to California.
