I know it was popular a couple years ago, but I only just tried it today. I didn’t have lemons so I used lemon juice. I thought it wasn’t bad, but very overly sweet thanks to the condensed milk. Definitely something I wouldn’t want to have every day.
I had something similar called a creamosa, which is lemon juice, milk, and ice with sugar, and it's blended. Not bad at all. I never had whipped lemonade. I wonder if it's any different.
Sounds a odd combination, are you sure citric acid and milk go together? I would think it would taste like sour milk.
My mother was a chemistry and mechanical engineering student in China and she said you never mix an acid with a base when you are making food.

Not lemonade. But I've had limeade that way. Found that recipe about a yr. Ago. It never occurred to Mr to try it with lemons.
