I used to be heavily in a cheating relationship with cake and coffee.
between the textures and layers of buttercream and the way it just melts in your month, orgasms. Not even candy was able to mimic the love.
Now, although I still advocate of cake of coffee, I cannot have it.
I started focusing more of working out and hoping to one day compete with the goal of an IFBB pro card. so I cut down on sugar and daily. I ended up having an intolerance towards dairy and that completely put me off cake.
dairy free anything isnβt it for me.
I switched out cake for a protein bar zero sugar so far it does the trick.
Any recommendations?
I cannot keep thinking Quest bars are the only alternative worthy.

No. On occasion i like twizzlers, soda, m&ms, skittles, and snickerdoodles but definitely not a daily/weekly/monthly thing

Back when I used to drink sugary pop I thought I was. But I quit over a year ago without any problem. Now I just drink the artificial sweetener pops. Honestly I think it's just learned behavior at this point. I really didn't want to quit, but I needed to because I was getting probably half my calories from it. And lost 50lbs. When I quit I don't even miss the sugar now. But I do hate the fact that I feel like traded one addiction for another. Because I feel like I drink too many artificial sweetened pops. I wish I'd drink more water.
I gave up sugar and salt years ago. I'm addicted to coffee and nectar but I haven't had the nectar in a long time. I'm so deprived

Our bodies produce sugar themselves even if we eat 0 sugar 24/4/365. And most people overload their bodies with sugar on a regular basis and it is fascinating how our bodies manage all that before turning into diabetics.

No, I don't. I do like some raw fruits that are processed and soaked for a long time in a sugar solution to make candied fruit (although candied fruit, the fruit flavour is not entirely sweet, but more predominantly sour with a hint of sweetness). And I rarely eat those candied fruits either...

I'd say I have a sweet tooth. But I value and care for my teeth as best I can, if I don't slack off at times rarely. If it's ever a health problem or diabetic or causing too many holes in teeth, then I'll cut back reduce my sugar. 👍👍
