Do you really like coffee?

A question here regarding roast preference made me wonder how many people that say they like coffee... actually like it.

I feel like if you don't drink coffee black you don't like coffee. Do you agree with this? If not tell me why milk, 6 tablespoons of sugar, caramel and whipped cream is needed for you to enjoy it then?

If it's not apparent. I am ok however you drink your coffee lol.

I fuckin love coffee. To be fair though I don't drink it black, but I add some milk and sugar. That's for at home. Coffee at home feels more like "true" coffee, a hug in a mug. Though I've been guilty of going to Dunkin (because fuck Starbucks) and getting the crazy sugary shit that gives me a buzz lol

F Starbucks! Yeah Starbucks is for mostly for people that think it's fancy to have a custom order that no one in the world would recognize as a coffee drink. Lol. 46 pumps of pumpkin blueberry cannolli flavored syrup half caff 8 shots of espresso, heavy cream and whip.. if I worked at Starbucks I'd be like here... and give them chocolate milk lol. They wouldn't know the difference lol

That said if that's how you like your coffee I really don't care I'm kidding around. Everyone can drink it how they like. When in Italy I'll have a cortado or cappuccino once in a while. I just prefer good coffee black. That's just me. There's nothing wrong with milk and sugar lol. I had to be clear to another poster I'm just having fun with this question lol.

I drink my espresso with milk and nothing else. I add milk so acid doesn't destroy my esophagus.

I drink a dozen cups of black coffee a day. I used to work from home for 20 years and then I drank a lot more. Coffee is the nectar of the gods

I like light roasted to medium roasts for pour over/ drip coffee and more traditional darker roasts for espresso although I get a kick out of how crazy a light roast espresso tastes.

I love black coffee. I always tell my friends that if they see me put anything into my coffee it's a bad coffee. A good brew is like a good man -- it has to be able to stand on its own. ;)

Ha... No I don't need one for cold brew because cold brew is overrated. I make pour over iced coffee. The technique I used is called Japanese iced coffee. It tastes better and I don't need to wait overnight. I have an espresso machine, a bunch of different pour over products, an expensive drip machine made in the Netherlands, good hand grinders, and electric grinders. French press, moka pot, chemex, and aeropress. I think that's it.
