Do you like thick, pureed soups like butternut, chestnut or split pea soup?

I love those kinds of soups.
My wife just made a delicious butternut soup tonight. She also makes a killer chestnut soup.
They are so flavorful, hearty and satisfying. I'm tempted to just drink them.

Butternut squash soup is my favorite in fall! I don't make it often because I'm the only one who eats it.

The recipe I use is the Panera copycat 🤣 and it calls for butternut squash, onion, pumpkin puree, olive oil, apple cider, vegetable broth, heavy cream, honey, curry, cinnamon, salt, pepper and pumpkin seed garnish. It's delicious!

i love soup! not canned but fresh. i like broth based and pureed. it's easy on the stomach and i need that a lot in my lifestyle

The only split pea soup I've ever had was at a restaurant called Split Pea Anderson's. They have several locations in central California. They are really big and quaint with gift shops and are known for their iconic Dutch windmills. Imagine building a huge business on split pea soup. It's really good.
