Why to: for protein, iron, and other nutrients that plant based foods cannot provide.

Why not to: You might not know where it comes from, if the animals were treated well, and an increased risk of certain diseases.

My POV: I was a pescetarian and pollo-pescetarian for health, environmental, and belief reasons. I am now an omnivore for health reasons. But one of my beliefs is that if we eat meat, then we have a right to know where it comes from and how the animals are treated. If you don't know, happier animals make better meat.

I think everyone has their own reasons.

I only eat meat on the weekend ( once or twice a week)

I find that my skin stays clear that way.

I rarely eat meat because I don't like the flavor and texture, however, I aware that our body needs some nutrients and proteins that can only be found on animal meat so I force myself to consume meat once in a while.

my sister is a vegan for ethical reasons. i am not because i am neurodivergent with texture issues when it comes to food, and there aren’t very many things i can eat anyways.
