Is $25 too much money for lunch?

So I have a craving for vitamin A and C and D right now cause I forgot to buy fruit during my last shopping trip on Friday so I was thinking I could either go to a salad place that serves lots of vegetables or I could visit a buffet that has hundreds of food options and get my dairy, my fruit and my vegetables without buying everything one at a time which might cost more than the 25 dollar flat rate for endless food. But $25 seems like a lot of money for lunch.

Another thing is I don't know if its safe to visit a buffet when you have the virus and the covid flu going around the country so it might be a safety hazard to shop there.

There is a sushi buffet that has all you can eat salad but they put so much sauce in their salad than it's worse than candy when it comes to calories in your food. It also costs more than the buffet. The advantage is they bring your food to your table so you are less likely to run into people who are sick while shopping there.

So my friend bought me food cause she knew I was low on cash. I had a tuna poke bowl and yam fries and did not pay a single penny.

A buffet is not a very good deal if all you want is fruit and veggies, unless they have and you love things like Dragon Fruit. Also, even if viruses were not going around I would not trust other people to have clean hands while serving themselves so I avoid places like that.

I wouldn't spend $25 everyday for lunch but I have spent as much as $30 for myself at lunch. I go out 5 days a week for lunch so obviously I can't do this everyday. Normal lunch is about $15.
As for covid or any other virus don't fear it... We can't hide locked up in our basements in fear, you'll never enjoy life if you do that.

That’s way too much lunch money and is that every day add that up and see how much of a waste it is you’re better off to bring lunch from home probably cost you more like 2 to 3 dollars a day

The way things are today I think 25 bucks gers you a burger, fries and a Coke at a half decent place

I did a comparison with my son. He said he was spending about $15 a day for lunch and never had any money to do other things and I told him that is one of the reasons why you add that up in a two week. That is a hell of a lot of money. I told him when you make supper depending on what you’re making make a little extra and you can use that for lunch. Also making lunch from home with the bread. You already have the lunchmeat, peanut butter, jelly, salmon, tuna, honey, fruits, nuts. You can save yourself a ton of money and spend it elsewhere where it’s more needed and probably eat better than eating out all the time
