
Foods that would keep my tummy flat?


@jahaims nailed it. Eat lean fish and fruit but do it 50x/day and you'll still get a gut as much as you would if you ate pizza and candy in moderation.
That said, you could temporarily get bloat from beans or refined carbs, but you'll literally just gas/crap that out, and that won't make your stomach any less firm since that's all under the muscle. I get like that before long races because of all the carbs I eat leading into it so I can have the fuel to carry the weight all that way, but it's done and over with later that day or the next day. Usually same day.
Everyone is different when it comes to belly fat. Some distribute it more there while others store it in different areas. One thing in common that I have noticed is avoiding SUGAR. This is the first killer for nice tummy. Refined carbs is another monster but still better than sugar because sugar digested faster that you can see the effect almost immediate. Dairy can be a problem too, which is why almond/oat milk is the best. Add more fibre and protein to your diet and make sure your carbs is under control. The most important thing is to keep your belly fat percentage to 25% or below. Anything above that will get you a pouch.
To keep you stomach and lower abdomen flat, do what I do. Take a Yoga class that works your 'core' and then cut out most foods that foster simply add sugar and starch to your diet, AND do not eat late at night and go to bed with a lot of food in your stomach, I have been doing that for many moons, and my stomach is flat as a pancake, and I have very little abdominal fat.

If you could eat yourself thin everyone would be doing it. However fruit and vegetables are preferred. Flatness comes from exercising the muscles.
That isn't really how foods work besides bloating. Body fat percentage determines that. So if you stay within your calorie range it doesn't matter what you eat.
Avoid foods with lots of refined sugar. Also, maybe take a test to see if you have any food sensitivities. For example, in general for me, unrefined wheat flour causes bloating so I avoid it.
I think it's calories that matter in the end
A good lean diet & a good weight training program will have you looking real good
good food maniy be lots of veg a good mix it will make you fart bit of a bummer
