
Apart from Halloween and for pumpkin pie do you eat pumpkins?


I grow my own, butternut pumpkins, spaghetti pumpkins and green pumpkins and make soups, stews and veggie roasts. So i eat these from August till April (put them somewhere cold and they won't go bad)
Pumpkin Pie at Thanksgiving and maybe Christmas. I saw Once a Moose Take a Pumpkin I Threw Out in my Yard in PA (House I used to Rent) and Take it Away in his Big Mouth. lolxxoo

Spaghetti and Hokkaido pumpkins are usable as replacement for potatoes side dishes. However most of those colorful pumpkins are just decoration because they taste very poorly.

Not really a lot, but a few times per year I make Pumpkin Lasagna. If anyone makes it, use half the amount of pumpkin called for in the recipe. You will thank me later.

I wouldn’t say ‘a lot’ but do enjoy a good pumpkin soup, occasionally roasted like other squash, and go insane for the seeds 😉

I mean I rarely eat pumpkins but there is something that tastes kinda like it that's local to us and it's comon here. It's a red squash which is what I eat more often if that counts
