I keep telling people to appreciate pears more. Everybody's so into apples and whenever they see someone eating a pear they seem genuinely confused, as if they never considered eating a pear like an apple.

Also, thick pear juice is one of the most delicious things you can drink.

Yes, I love Pears. Many years ago my late grandma had a pear tree in front of her house and the Landlord cut it down, but wow did it give fresh pears every season.

I like slightly unripe conference pears when they're still hard and crunchy. Ideally they should have a lot of russet on the skin

I have just one pear in my garden it's Conference pear. This small tree has around 200kg pears every year
