Does all whiskey taste as bad as Canadian mist?

No. I'm not sure anything tastes as bad as Canadian Mist. lol However, despite being Canadian myself, I don't like Canadian whiskey. I much prefer bourbon or scotch.

But don't give up on whisky just because you had a bad one. There are many different styles of whisky, from different countries and different regions, and they all have different flavours. You just have to find the one you like. Everyone's palate is different, and what one person likes may not be what you like.

I would suggest going to a bar with a quality whisky selection and ask the bartender for their recommendation on a good whisky. Don't just get something generic though, like Crown Royal, Jack Daniels or Johnny Walker Red. Tell the bartender you want something a cut above the standard whiskies on offer, and try different ones. Shots at a bar are more expensive than a shot at home, but it's also a much cheaper way to try different liquors to see which ones you like. And of course, try different ones if they are offered to you by friends or family too.

There's a whole world of flavour out there, but it's up to you to find the ones you like. Hope this helps.
