Deep fried mincepies anyone?

An English fish and chip shop has started to batter and deep fry sweet mince pies for Christmas. Thoughts?

I think they look good. I've never had them myself. It almost reminds me of PB&J gooing out of it. But I know it's just the mince and crust part I see.

I guess it absorbs a lot of fat while frying. One piece and daily recommended amount of saturated and monounsaturated fats is exceeded.
