Why don’t some people like sushi?

Probably because it's raw lots of people don't like the idea of eating raw food and if you don't like seafood to begin with well you defiantly ain't gonna like it raw.

Personally I was apprehensive when I first tried it to when I was younger but let me tell properly made quality sushi is good like tastes better raw then it does cooked especially the fatty fish and sashimi? Omg so good.

Most of the people I've met who don't like sushi never even tried it. They just hate the idea of raw fish. I took one of them on a dare and I started him gently with just cucumber rolls, then maguro, then salmon, then ika, then uni and ikura. He loved the cucumber rolls and maguro and salmon but wasn't a fan of the last three.

Sushi is more of a seafood type thing. So, if people don't like fish, they might not like sushi. Even though there is sushi only made with vegetables and fruit.

I'm sure there are many reasons. I know three people who refuse to eat sushi. One refuses to eat any seafood at all because he insists it all tastes too fishy. A woman I know is just put off by the idea of eating raw fish. And my friend is just a really picky eater. You can barely get her to eat a meat other than chicken, nevermind raw fish.

Some people are afraid of things they are not raised into. I remember when strangers would ignore me if I asked them questions about the bus schedule when I was at the bus stop. They don't know me and fear I might be a killer or villain.

Different reasons.
I know of someone who doesn't like rice. Another doesn't like fish.
For some, it's the texture of the raw fish.
And I'm sure for others there are different reasons as well.

Raw fish has parasitic worms and therefor is very dangerous to eat.
Raw meats in general tend to carry this risk, its best to cook meat completely to avoid illness or death.
