However I quite like the smell, what about you?

I love the taste and aroma of garlic in food. You can't have too much garlic in certain dishes.
Even crushed raw garlic is great in things like dips or salad dressings.
When we go out for pizza, my favorite topping is pepperoni and lots of chopped garlic.
I even like baking a head of it until the garlic is soft and then squeezing it out of the cloves onto baguette that is dipped in olive oil.
It has excellent health properties, too. I eat quite a bit. No wonder I'm so healthy.
Ugh I love it so much. Fresh garlic, roasted garlic, black garlic. A lady was cooking me a wonderful chicken parmesan once, had garlic on her hands. When she brushed her hair behind her ear her fingers dragged across the sternocleidomastoid and when I put my arms around her from behind and kissed her neck the smell of her mixed with the garlic and gunpowder (we'd gone to the range before dinner) and the food in the air was quite... motivating.
I really do, especially while it's being sauteed. One of my favorite things to do with it is to put a whole head of garlic in the oven and roast it until it's soft. It gets a smooth consistency and takes on a sweeter flavor -- still very garlicky, just not as sharp. Then I scoop the soft garlic cloves out of the peel and mix them with butter, then spread it on a baguette or other crusty bread.
Great, it's 2:30AM and now I want garlic bread :p
I think it's ok and it tastes good too. Only downside is it makes your breath stink (I brush my teeth 3 times a day anyway so probably doesn't matter). I like melted butter & garlic to dip pieces of plain loaf bread in. Much like doing it with olive oil except butter & garlic. I love cheese lovers pizza with a parmesan garlic sauce and cheesy shrimp linguine too.

I love the smell of garlic as well, but especially when it's being cooked. Also onions and ginger.
One fact that always surprised me so much is that potatoes weren't a staple cuisine in most parts of Europe until the 19th century or so and even banned in France for a portion of the 18th century. I always imagined a lot of traditional European cuisine as being about meat and potatoes.
I like it if it isn't too strong - some people really overdo it. But I make garlic mashed potatoes, and use garlic on meats or in rubs, but I don't go overboard because I don't want to taste ONLY garlic.
Sure garlic has a strong smell, but I love garlic in any form. Something my wife and I often did was spreading soft cheese on a sandwich and covering the cheese with thin slices of raw garlic and a little pepper. Delicious :0)
No I don’t but squeeze it all over the dog the fleas don’t like it. Plus I recommend rubbing a lot of garlic all over your neck before you go to bed every night. It keeps the vampires away
Yes, the smell of butter and garlic is the best smell in the world
Yes!!
I love the smell of garlic, proves I'm not a vampire.
Yes. And never underestimate the power of garlic. I wear it all the time and have NEVER been attacked by a vampire!
I think garlic is nice if used in moderation, but if you eat too much of IT IT can be smelly.
Are you a vampire hunter or something? Otherwise, I don't see any reason to like the smell of garlic.👁👄👁
Garlic is extremely good for you for yoir heart health as well as having antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties not to mention the many vitamins and minerals it provides it also makes certain foods taste great.
