Maybe Romaine lettuce, kale, avocado, sliced tomatoes, shallots, and croutons with classic Caesar dressing (complete with anchovies). Sometimes I'll add pumpkin or small pieces of boiled chicken as well.
I'm not a big fan of broccoli for salads although I do love to eat steamed or boiled broccoli straight on the side. But I never liked what it does texture-wise when mixed up into a salad.
Great taste! Seeing a lot of answers saying the same... kale, grape/cherry tomatoes, avocado, onion/shallots.
Can't go wrong with a Caesar dressing!
Cheers! I never get tired of Caesar dressing. It's probably my favorite. For tomatoes, I like a variety although I enjoy cherry tomatoes as well (I often prefer to at least cut them in half so that they don't dominate the texture and flavor as much). Pumpkins I used to hate but my wife loves pumpkin so I've acquired a taste for it. π
And avocados + tomatoes is always a favorite for me.
For some variety and to throw in some more variety of veggies, I like to sometimes make a simple mirepoix type of basic salad with celery, carrots, and onions. Then top with a thick homemade ginger dressing I make in the blender (grated ginger, sesame oil, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, black pepper, and a dollop of ketchup blended together). Sometimes I'll toss in an extra veggie/fruit or two like some cucumbers or tomatoes depending on what I have in the fridge.
Hard-boiled eggs grated, a huge glob of mayo, a little bit of salt, maybe a dash of paprika.
Chopped Kale, diced grape tomatoes, pickled red onions, cilantro, greek yogurt based homemade dressing, seasoned diced chicken, feta cheese crumbles, diced/copped pecans, balsamic glaze, carrot slivers, slices of hard boiled eggs, crushed chili flakes
And avocado!
Now that's really good taste. Sounds like my kinda salad
I literally hate salad. I only eat the bacon bits
Lawd your diet π
You're gonna be feeling that in some years
I can diet without salad
Do you eat fruits and veggies at least?
Because from what I remember you don't like anything but the Burger patty and cheese in your burgers π
Yes i love veggies and i occasionally eat fruits. I dont even like actual bacon. But in a salad box, iβd only eat the bacon bits
Such a crime to do that to a salad π
What veggies do ya like?
I know corn isn't a veggie, but corn. Sweet peas, carrots (but only in stew), cabbage, potatoes, tomatoes (but only in salsa), bell peppers, celery, lima beans, butter beans, baked beans lmao. I hate broccoli, okra and green beans
Well I honestly thought corn was a veggies all this time, so I learned something new π As for the others... I'll be honest and say they all sound like veggies that you'd only have with meat dishes. And the way you seem pretty limited in the way they're prepared.
Do you not like raw carrots with dip? And you only like tomatoes in salsa? What about tomato sauce for pasta?
Iunno I feel that's a very limited amount of veggies. No hate π
One of my exes had your kind of taste. She disliked herbs or green veggies. And the only time she liked stuff like spinach was when it was covered in cheese in like pastas and stuff. Any time my family prepared a salad for her, she would refuse to have any. My brother was like "Does she even eat veggies?" π
Most of that wasn't even vegetables. It was legumes. I dont get people who dont like salads.
I hate raw carrots and ranch. I like tomato sauce but not whole tomatoes in spaghetti. I named so many veggies I don't know how thats limited. And i dont need meat to eat those. Legumes can be veg or protein
Thenβ¦. dont eat ranch. Or raw carrots. Plenty of other dressings. You can roast carrots instead of using raw ones in a salad
@HotLentilzzz like i said, i like carrots but only in stew.
