Any plant based eaters here? Is it just me or is meat starting to taste nasty?

I'm starting to get nauseated when I eat meat. All I taste is like grease I don't know it's just gross now

I honestly only seem to like meat when it's in sushi. Seems to taste fresh.

There can be a number of reasons it tastes nasty.
Meat is seasonal, which means you could be eating meat that's been frozen for months or cheap imports. Your supermarket could have switched suppliers who are using a different breed. It's usually the lower quality meats that make it into supermarkets as the better stuff is taken by restaurants and trad butchers. The fats where the flavour is but if the animals aren't getting good tasty food then those flavours won't make it into the fat.

I've been vegan basically my whole life. I can't stand the smell of meat. My husband is also mostly vegan now because meat started to gross him out like the smell, taste and the way it made him feel. Only eats it if he gets a craving for it.

I tried plant based food and its so awful. But he's a while meat wasn't tasting good anymore. It only tastes good if baked or on a grill now

I dont like the taste even when I go to other places. Salmon has natural oils in it. I can taste it and it makes me nauseated
