What's the wildest order you've heard/received at a restaurant?

Odorigui ("dancing eating"). I ate a "live" squid like this:

It's not actually alive. It was humanely killed right before serving (hence the clear color; living squid take on a darker hue). Yet it still has reflexes so I had the tentacles of might moving around and getting stuck to and clinging to my face.

I didn't like it so much. I actually prefer it when it's no longer moving.

I was a sous chef for about a year, by far the most wild order was the (ultra) well done steak

Order came in and was cooked as a regular well done steak, sent out, returned, given another minute, sent out, returned, 2 minutes on the grill (looked like shoe leather), sent out, returned
This time the head chef was by the bar, pluck the steak off the plate , onto a tray and into the pizza oven then went for a cigarette
After that I could have reheeled my shoes with the former steak
Plate came back empty with a £10 tip

A "friend" of mine ordered a particular sandwich with soup, and had to have the soup brought out as a separate "course" . Then the sandwich (and he gave specs on THAT)- would be brought out later so it would be "hot". OMG - this was a nickel and dime sandwich shop, not Lawry's the Prime Rib, or the Ritz. Courses! jeesh

Not much but online I saw how someone put pasta in a wine cup and poured it onto a plate and twisted it all fancy like I didn't just watch someone get ripped off 😂

I love Escargots de Bourgogne although I'm used to it more with parsley than spinach like so:

I love that! That one uses parsley for the greens but spinach sounds good as well. I think it's so good on toasted bread. It's one of my favorite foods although not one I commonly list on here since I can't afford to eat it very often.
