I will not eat pig as they are filthy disgusting animals. Neither will many countries or religions.

I  LOVE  bacon, BBQ baby back ribs, ham, pork chops, BBQ pulled pork sandwiches. I don't eat things if I don't like the taste or texture. I hate the taste of olives for some reason. I hate liver and organ meat. I don't like the texture of octopus or squid. There are some other things I'm not crazy about, but overall, I'm not picky. I won't eat veal or foi gras because of the inhumane way the animals are treated. I would never eat dog or cat. I avoid GMOs like the plague. I also avoid foods that were treated with agricultural chemicals. I won't buy anything coated with Apeel. I try to avoid food products that contain chemicals. And I will not consume high fructose corn syrup. I won't buy any Israeli products.

You have never seen a cow eating their own shit? I assure you they do it much more often than you could think.
However countries with people who don't eat pork because of religious reasons don't have much green grass meadows with cows on it and have likely never seen a cow eating their shit.
In world of animals is eating shit not really uncommon by lot of species. It's nutrient recycling and possibility to obtain beneficial colon micro organisms from other animals. Something like pills people eat together with antibiotics.

Pigs are one of the cleanest animals going. For example, they'll reserve one corner for shitting so the rest stays clean. Mud wallowing removes old skin and parasites.

Never been able to bring myself to try octopus.

I don’t eat anything that is served with its eyes still attached… 😅 like crawfish. I had a crawfish stew thing I asked to have it without the heads in it and they accidentally forgot to remove them. I just ate the sausages and other stuff it came with.
