Which do you preferred: noodles, or rice?

I prefer rice, but my Chinese fiancee ate so much rice when she was a child (thanks to the poverty caused by the poor leadership of Chairman Mao) that she refuses to ever again eat rice. She prefers. . . rice noodles. Really!

And I now try to follow a low carb diet, so no rice for me, either. Or noodles.

Rice can be wonderful if it has stuff in it. Thai spicy rice; Chinese pork fried rice, Indian and Middle Eastern rice.  But I generally prefer noodle dishes.

I love both but maybe noodles since I don't get to eat pasta much. I especially love mac & cheese, chicken alfredo, chow mein, yakisoba, ramen, and lasagna.

i do the in-between, like couscous or rice-a-roni. a half noodle and rice concoction. tastes great and is a better side dish.

Depends if it's fried rice, gimme the rice. If it's white rice, gimme the noodles. Honestly they're both carbs. I don't consider it a big difference either way.

It depends on the dish. Sometimes rice is the better option like in paella and sometimes noodles are best like in a chicken Alfredo dish. However I do tend to like both. Lol
