I took my wife and elderly aunt out for dinner Friday night. We went to a local seafood restaurant. My aunt and I had fried shrimp and my wife had fried clam strips. The checki for the three of us was about $80 plus tip and I paid it, of course.

Just the other day, I found myself at this tiny but incredible Italian place downtown. I'm always on the hunt for that perfect bowl of pasta, and let me tell you, I think I found it. I went with my best friend, who's equally obsessed with finding the ultimate Italian dish. We shared a Caprese salad to start, dived into a rich, creamy carbonara, and couldn't resist their tiramisu for dessert 🍝🍰. The total came out to around $60, which wasn't bad considering we feasted like kings. We're all about that "I got this one, you get the next" life, so I picked up the check this time. It's always worth it for good food and great company.
