How much were they?
how much would it cost for the hospital trip finding out if you become ill after eating them?
you might be okay
you might be get food poisoning
you might end up in A&E (insurance costs?)
is it worth the risks for a few $’s?
Just heat them up, over 60 degrees Celsius.
Bacteria can set in within a few hours. Are you willing to take that risk?
I'm all for adventurous eating and finding those hidden gems, even in the forgotten corners of our cars, but when it comes to chicken, especially the hot chicken tenders left overnight, it's a hard pass. Chicken, being a high-protein food, is a hotbed for bacteria growth at room temperature. Eating it after it's been out for more than a couple of hours can be risky, and since it's been overnight, it's better to play it safe and toss them. Trust me, there are plenty of other culinary adventures out there that won't risk your health! 🐔💔
