Is this still okay to eat?

What is on the label 'Use by' or 'Best before'. 'Use by' or 'Best before' have no real legal standing it is manufactures covering themselves.
If it is 'Best before' it will be fine to eat.
If it is 'Use by' this is where you need to be cautious, firstly use your nose we have evolved to detect tainted foodstuffs by smell if the date is a couple of days past the 'Use by' and it smells OK then it should be fine, especially if it is going to be cooked.
Personally I'd be more concerned about the any of the 'additives' in the Ingredients panel, I found out the hard way while living in the US that many of the commonly used 'additives' in US processed foods can cause gastric distress. When I lived in the US I had to scratch cook every day, and bake bread every other day, even a simple white loaf, here in the UK has only around 10-12 ingredients (Various flours depending on the bread, yeast, oil, vitamins & minerals), In the US I’ve seen Bread with over 30 ingredients, a lot of individually names chemicals, and a hell of a lot of sugar.
If it has been sealed the entire time, it shouldn't be a problem. Just smell it and inspect it closely.
There are no animal products that can grow bacteria. It's basically flour, so there isn't anything in it that can spoil.
Not safety dates:
Sell-by dates are not a measure of when food is unsafe to eat. They are used for inventory management and rotating stock at retailers.
Food can be safe past the date:
If stored properly, many foods remain safe to eat even after their sell-by date has passed.
Quality vs. safety:
Sell-by dates primarily indicate the period of best quality, not necessarily a point of no return for food safety.
Consumer confusion:
The lack of clear standards for date labeling can lead to consumers misinterpreting these dates as safety dates, causing them to throw away perfectly safe food.
What is the product? And how long has it been expired. I can't tell either thing.
I'd say if it's something with liquid in it, past expiration dates means it's not the best idea to use the product. If it's a dry product, unlikely to hurt you. However it might taste stale.
If that's simply flour, not a baked good, it's also likely OK. A baked good might be stale.
Unless you find little mealy bugs in a flour mix or flour itself, it should be fine. You s hould only worry about past due dates in milks and fruit juices. In canned goods, if the seal is not broken, meaning the can stabbed through, the goods will last past due years.
Best test is your nose for most items. Bad odor, it's gone. It's ready-baked goods I'd be cautious of. If some made up cake, pie or the like has a past due date, pass it up. Especially if it's a baked item that is MOIST. A dry baked item is more shelf stable. Cookies might be STALE, but they won't harbor bacteria.
if it expired like 2 days ago you can still eat it but if it's been like a week or more probably dont
The general rule for expired food is to trust your senses. Check for any off smells, unusual textures, or visible mold. If it looks, smells, or tastes odd, it's best to err on the side of caution and not consume it. For non-perishable items, a few days past the expiration date might still be okay, but it's essential to use your judgment. Safety always comes first in the culinary world! 🥫

Expired when? Last week, last month, last year? If it's in a sealed package, not too much can happen. I eat expired food all the time, especially if I can fry or cook it.
OK - looks like a buttermilk biscuit mix to me. As long as the bag is totally sealed, it should be fine. I just opened a sealed mix bag from 2023 and used it - turned out fine. If mixes have leavening in them and they over a year OOC, I will add a pinch or two of double acting baking powder to them, to help ensure a good rise from them.
Notable exception I found. We had bought bags of rice at a Dollar Tree from some foreign producer. I made the mistake of merging that bag of rice into an existing bigger bag of rice in my rice bin. Bad idea. The unknown brand must have had bug larva in the rice, and soon I was out about 15-20 pounds of rice as the now-grown bugs infested my whole tub of rice. Moral? Stick with brand names- or at least traceable producers- with products you bulk into your stash! Also, keep your "bulk" items in a separate sealed container until any new purchase have been proven safe in another sealed container.
It's a dry pancake mix, right? If so, it should still be safe to eat, but the sodium bicarbonate might have lost some of its effectiveness, meaning your pancakes don't come out as thick and fluffy as usual.
i'm no genius or nothing, but what if you made them and ate them? you risk it for the biscuit, or so they say. actually, i don't know anyone receiving biscuits as some kind of treat. we aren't all dogs.
None of the ingredients are prone to spoiling but I cannot see what the real expiration date is. I would take that date and double it.
Yes it's ok as long as it's been sealed. It's dry pancake mix.
Depends on how it's been stored, how long since "expired" and nothing you can tell by looking at the bag.
I hate waste! I'd want cry all night if I had to throw a moldy crust away! So nothing gets wasted in my home!
Gross past date means it is OLD so i wouldn't eat it!
If it's just been expired for a short period of time, like a week and it doesn't smell bad, I think it's safe to use.
I tend not to eat in such case, especially considfering I have a bad fridge.
If it's being sold in stores Let's 😕 DAM Hope. SoOoOo. But they will LIE
It's fine as long as it doesn't have bugs in it
Yes you can eat it but might not taste the same anymore
My record is 7 years I'm still alive, the honey from the pyramids was still edible and that was approximately 3,000 years old
I don't think that anything is okay to eat once it's expired.
Maybe you should try it, if it tastes bad, it's on okay to eat it.
What is it? & is it an expiry date or a best before date? I work in a food bank i can help i just need more info😅
If there is no problem with its taste or smell, it is edible.
I wouldn't eat anything that's expired.
All good after nose & visual inspection
I wouldn't risk it.
What is it and when did it expire
James the Foodie is 100% right !!!
If it's expired I suggest not to eat them...
