If food expires on Oct/Nov 2024, can I still eat now in April 2024 without any danger?

If the can of a product is bulging, that means that bacteria has created gas inside the can and the food is unsafe.

If you open something, inspect it for mold. Smell if to check if it smells spoiled.

But, for the most part, the expiration date on a can isn't an indication that food is unsafe to eat after that date.
