Easy. I'd cut out American, Indian, and Japanese (although I would be sad about the last two). I love Indian and Japanese food, actually. Tikka masala and sushi I'd especially miss. I could happily live the remainder of my life without American cuisine (if you can even call it that). I might miss Southern jambalaya and Southwestern barbecue.
Mexican food is basically part of the culture where I live; there's a cart or a restaurant on practically every corner, and mole' sauce and chipotle is too good to drop. I love tzatziki sauce, gyro and kalamata olives, so Greek/Mediterranean stays. Italian has pesto, so I'm keeping it.
I love Israeli and French food too, so I'll have plenty of flavor options. :D
Good news! Tika masala is actually British not indian 🤣
@Razp_Sorbet I'll make that claim next time I go to an Indian restaurant, then! :D
@TheRealPepperPotts You're about to make a whole lotta indians angry 🤣
@Razp_Sorbet You threw me off so hard with that comment I had to Google it. There's a ton of controversy on it, but there is one conclusion. It was made by Indians. Whether they did so in the UK or India is in question. There's no way a dish with the name "Tikka Masala" is a UK dish. It's like saying "pico de gallo" is Japanese 🤣
Shh we can pretend
@Razp_Sorbet @HawkPerception
You both make sure that boat is ready to go when I get there, OK?

@TheRealPepperPotts LOL your taste in movies is the best. Pirates of the Caribbean is in my top 10 favs. Love me some Captain Jack Sparrow and his drunk run 😂
Perfect allusion 👍🏼
@TheRealPepperPotts. We really should plan a lunch date with the girls!! I would cut out French if I had no other choice, but other than that, we have the exact same tastes in food. Mexican was my first solid food at 4 months old... I can't function without it!!
American food is going straight out the door... Too processed. The rest would be seriously difficult to give up...
No decisiveness tsk tsk. Should I phrase it as "You have to cut 3 or something terrible will happen" ? 😂
That's so bad! I can't give up mediterranean foods -- my ancestors would rise in protest. Indian and Mexican foods have the extra heat I like. Technically I don't cook Japanese food and it's $$$ to go out... so MAYBE I can also cut back Japanese if you really twist my arm. I'd reluctantly give up Mexican temporarily... like for Lent... MAYBE. (No promises.)
Hahahaha that was funny. The pain in your message. You're definitely a foodie

American and Italian are really the only ones i eat. I occasionally eat Mexican. The rest can go 🤣
Those are my 2 favs out of them too 😂
Lmao. I tried Indian food and Japanese/Korean food for the first time this year. I liked the butter naan and some dogmeat looking beef stuff. But i wasn't a fan of the other stuff. And at the other place i tried Korean beef braised short ribs with carrots and omg it was so yummy
Easy… I would cut out American, Indian and Mexican.
American - too unhealthy. I like the steaks and seafood … these I would miss
i know my family loves Indian… but too much heat for my system and I am. It so crazy that I can eat it weekly..
mexican - I am a minority … so many love it. My reasons… I have not yet find a good quality Mexican. I need someone to change my mind.
i could get good seafood from Greek, Japanese,
i could get great Kobe beef/steak, seafood from Japanese.
I could eat yummy flavorful Italian food often
American. We aren't really known for our cuisine anyway, and many of the dishes we are famous for are actually from other countries or copies of dishes from other countries, though some are pretty decent. That's one of the things about being a country with many different immigrant backgrounds.
Next is Greek. I don't know I've just never tried it and it doesn't interest me much but I'd be willing to try it. The dishes that do interest me I can find in Turkish cuisine as well which is where I think they originated from in the first place.
And lastly Japanese, I do like some Japanese dishes but I'm not a fan of sushi and it's not taking out Mexican, Italian, or Indian.
That said, I am naturally curious about and like different types of cuisines so nothing personal against my choices.
French, American, British. American is the only one on that list I would cut. Most of the cuisines on the list are among the healthiest ways to eat. And, growing up in San Diego, Mexican is my first food of choice. I eat it every single day for at least one meal, if not all three!
But if you were forced to cut 3, which would they be?
American, Japanese, Italian
American. Too much processed shit.
Italian. This is going to be an unpopular opinion, but I'm not that fussed about pizza and pasta. Yes, there is more to Italian cuisine than that, but I'm almost too used to it.
Japanese. As much as I love it, the prices for it are too much for me.
I can live without sushi and other seafood dishes. Ill miss it but the others i can't walk away from.
But if you were forced to cut 3, which would they be?
Indian and greek and i WOULD NOT BE HAPPY
Japanese, Indian, Greek.
That was easy. I'd miss some of the Indian curry and Greek gyros but that's about it.
American food might be overly processed in some ways, in other ways we have improved on other culture's food significantly. I've been around the world and you'd be hard-pressed to find as many incredible restaurants in one city as Austin, Texas.
I love Indian people but most of the Indian dishes they taste similar, like chicken tikka masala and butter chicken. Unfortunately I’ve also tried vegetarian Indian dishes and I don’t prefer it
I would cut Japanese, Indian, and Greek because I eat all of the others more often.
i'd get rid of indian, japanese & greek. this is hard though
American, italian, indian. To me that's easyyyy
i will cut American, maxican, Japanese
@HawkPerception
I think American food is most unhealthy
I can probably give up American & Greek dishes.
I'd gladly pass on Indian cuisine.
Italian, Japanese, and American.. 😋
Are those the 3 you're cutting or the ones you're choosing?
Aaaaah.. I misread sorry. 😁😂😴 I will have to cut American, even though I like it. Hard to choose the other two!
No decisiveness tsk tsk. Let me rephrase the question... "You have to cut 3 or something terrible will happen. Which 3 do you choose to cut?" 😂
No fair, mister! 😭😂 But okay.. I will cut off Japanese ('cause it's kinda bland sometimes and I can live without it) and Greek, 'cause I haven't tried it before.. just the greek yogurt! Haha!
There ya go! I knew you could do it! I had faith in you 😂
Indian, Greek and Mexican
You know, in a poll, we can only select one of the choices.
Cut as in remove?
I'd take Japanese off, Greek and I guess Indian. Indian cuisine is super good but I can't do without Italian pasta, mexican tacos nor American burgers.
Greek, Italian, Mexican, Japanese
That's 4 lol
in that order
Cut American - Indian - Mexican
i'll cut greek, mexican, japanese.
Pftt easy. Japanese, Indian, and Greek
Same. So far you're the only one that said the same as me
I saw a couple other people who said the same lol
Ahem... let's pretend I didn't say that. I'm clearly illiterate/blind
Let's just say a lot of people here have good taste 😂
I'm keeping Italian and Mexican.
African foods are my favorite.
American, Mexican and greek
