Do you find it insane how many fast food chains there are in the usa?

Watching a Joshua Weissman YouTube video ranking food from fast food chains, I'm just amazed how many chains there are.

And it's theorized that since they are all owned by each other that one huge organization owns them all and they poison our food in many ways to make us sick, they believe that one organization is big pharma which is who is in charge of all the medicine and stuff and since doctors for the most part are taught how to treat and not cure, it leaves us in a cycle of needing medicine to survive and that same medicine causes issues somewhere else and its just a money milking technique that keeps people in a cycle and keeps them coming back until people die.

Not really. America is all about variety, gluttony and over indulgence. So would make sense based on grocery stores and how we eat here in the US. Look at how many different cereals we have and most of that isn't even healthy to begin with. Living in Australia for a min showed me how different the US operates vs the rest of the world. America needs to get back to caring about quality.

No, we have many chains for different businesses not just fast food. We're pretty capitalist after all.

Also not every chain is available across all states. For example we have Checker's here in FL but it's not available in every state

It's not just there. Here in the UK those places are rife too. You see kids rush out of school lunchtimes/ after school and instead of going home, they queue up for fast food.
