Why the racist flavoring to this question? How odd...
Coffee's a hot common bev -- traditionally cheaper than a soda and readily available to the working class.
Going way back to ancient times, many communities consumed coffee or highly caffeinated tea in various forms (1) to stay warm/sharp/awake, (2) for medicinal purposes, or (3) as part of a social norm.

I am not good at differentiating good quality coffee from garbage coffee 😅
Oh, only "white" people love coffee?
The top coffee producing countries are in South and Central America, Mexico, Viet Nam, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Uganda.
It is thought to have originated in Ethiopia, made its way to Yemen in the 15th century, and to Persia, Egypt, Syria, and Turkey in the 16th century.
Why do the English and "white" people love tea?

coffee has a "cultural" presence because coffee shops are common social spaces/relaxation. many people (not just white people) rely on coffee to start their day. you can custom coffee literally any way you want. and honestly, people are just tired

Most people who have to get up early in the morning and not be a lazy bum like coffee, regardless of race. I work with a bunch of dudes from Mexico and they love coffee, too.
Just for myself, I don't drink coffee. Don't like the taste of it and never have. Whilst for my family, they all love it... Guess I'm different
