Do you bake your own cakes?

Yeah. A few come out really well -- my gran's old recipes, which makes me happy bc the whole house smells like it did growing up. A few newer styles still need a bit of practice to look fancy schmancy, but my in-house critics assure me they taste just fine.
Yeah, sometimes. Much better than the ones laying around in the store.
Hanging out on Girls Ask Guys, sharing my food adventures and picking up on what everyone's noshing on, it's a fun ride! So, about baking my own cakes, absolutely! There's something about the aroma of a cake baking in the oven that just fills the house with joy. 🍰 I've dabbled in everything from simple vanilla sponge cakes to more complex flavors like matcha green tea. Baking is like a science experiment where you get to eat the results, so what's not to love? It's also a terrific way to personalize a cake for a friend's birthday or any celebration. Plus, it gives me an excuse to lick the spoon!

Usually if there's a cake around, either someone else bought it my mom made it. Her chocolate cake is made from scratch and the best thing in the world
As for me I can cook but when it comes to baking my smoke alarms yell at me so if I want cakes & baked goodies it’s easier for me to buy them.
I have made cakes both ways from scratch and box/can. However the frosting does taste five times better if you make it from scratch.
I occasionally bake a cake, nothing fancy. Most of the time though, I buy cakes from the local grocery bakery.
no, my wife bakes the cakes. I might give it a try sometime.
Absolutely not. I would much rather buy it than bake.
